The History of Arnold Swartscholera the Fairy

A rnold had a deprived childhood, neglected by his mother and the fact that he was the only male fairy on the block led to an inferiority complex, mental problems. Therefore, after a history of gang fights and a short apprenticeship with a down and out wizard, he took up the lucrative occupation of dungeon delving. Well somebody had to do it.

Joining two other hopefuls, he joined up with the Death Goddesses agents in recovering the Elixir of Life from a remote island dungeon.

Many trials and tribulations were encountered, such as toppling giants, orcs and great wizards. These gradually reduced the party's numbers, leaving Arnold and two others, who nimbly skirted the pile of ash (a one time friend - Strongbark the Elf), steering clear of the bloody mess off the ceiling; they escaped the dungeon. However, they did have a small vial with a label saying Elixir of Life, which was actually some hobbit home brew, you couldn't tell the difference, or could you! Then they triumphantly returned to the Death Goddess, bearing aloft their prize, she wasn't too happy with it and some quick thinking saved Arnold's life and left his friends slightly dead.

Thinking it best to vacate the area, Arnold visited a haunted house, in which he fought soul suckers, witches, charmed terrible trolls and emerged gloriously, with a Lucky Black Cat and bulging triceps.

Joining another party, which included another fairy, a vampire and various assorted humans, elves and dwarves. They entered the infamous Dungeon of the Bear, on their way to which they suffered the traumatic loss of the Lucky Black Cat. They battled their way through the upper reaches of the dungeon, killing trolls, crocodiles, goblins and those party members who turned into cave bears. They left a trail of death and destruction and burning trolls in their wake. Unfortunately, with depleted numbers the attacking cave lions proved too much for them and the two fairies barely escaped with their lives and the half digested, regenerative vampire.

Forming another band of adventurers, including lots of dwarves, a flying carpet, the party with various losses and additions, beat up hordes of assorted goblinoids and trolls, survived deadly traps, gained an ice elemental slave and various party members suffered mutations turning them into animal hybrids. Then came the party in fighting, an evil elf decided, most unjustly, to kill one of the fairies mutated slaves, so he was forced to execute her to save the faithful creature, he then had to use a teleporter to escape her guardian demon.

Now the story of Arnold draws to a close, he is currently residing in luxury in Salkti, spending his cash on wine, fairies and song. He models part time for tacky magazines, such as this one.
