Elma The Breadboard

nce upon a time there was a large beautiful breadboard called Elma. One day whilst lying beside the sink, in the plate rack, drying off after being washed, she saw for the first time, a small Wedgewood saucer. She fell in love with him and had a torrid affair for several minutes until the saucer, who was called Wedgie was picked up and dried then put away on the shelf.

For days Elma just lay on the work surface looking up at Wedgie on the shelf, then about a week later they met again on the draining board and Wedgie said that he had found someone else, a cup called Anne. Elma was devastated and went and jumped onto the gas cooker and burnt slowly to death.
